creamy peanut butter
butter or margarine
maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix creamy peanut butter, butter or margarine, and stir until smooth. Slowly stir in syrup (yes, maple syrup) until the mixture is creamy and evenly mixed. Spread this on bread and enjoy your sandwich.

Larry, you can use just plain white bread instead of bread balls....

When the cookbook was in the making, it was brought to attention that a recipe needed to be added; "Merlin's Peanut Butter." Many were surprised as they were under the impression as it was Larry's recipe. Larry lived on this stuff. In fact it wasn't until many of the children were grown with children of their own that they realized that this wasn't just a standard, well known recipe. Apparently all of the small children were introduced to peanut butter with Merlin's Peanut Butter. It didn't make their tongue stick to the roof of their mouths.
