4 qt chopped cucumbers, not fine
6 med or 4 lg onions, chopped
⅓ c salt
3 ice tray ices
3 c sugar
2 c vinegar
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp tumeric

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cucumbers, onions, salt and ice together and let stand for 3 hours. Drain well and squeeze out juice. Mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed, and turmeric together and bring to a boil, but do not boil. Simmer for 15 minutes. Seal in Sterilized jars.
