- 1 cup of milf

- 1 cup of 15% cream

- 2 tbsp of fresh ginger

- zest and juice of ½ of a lemon

- 6 egg yolks

- ½ cup of sugar

- 1 tsp of vanilla extract

- 6 tbsp of brown sugar

Directions:

1. On a pot, bring to a boil slowly the milk, the cream the ginger and the lemon zest and let in rest for about 10 minutes

2. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until all the sugar has melted

3. Add the boiled milk mix to the eggs mix and out back on the stove

4. Add the lemon juice and the vanilla and mix well

5. Put in 6 separate ramequins (125 ml each)

6. Cook in a bain-marie in the oven at 325F for 30-40 minutes

7. Cool them in the fridge for several hours

8. Before serving, put 1tbs of brown sugar on each portion and use a torch to brown it ( you cab also put the ramequins in the freezer for 5 min and put them at broil for 60 seconds)
