3 lb beef sirloin tip roast
2 c (or 1 can) beef broth or stock
1 onion, thinly sliced
⅓ c cider vinegar
⅓ c brown sugar
salt and pepper
12 gingersnap cookies, pulverized (this is the thickener for gravy)

Directions:
Layer the onions on the bottom of crock pot. Salt and pepper roast thoroughly and place on top of onions. Add the beef stock, cider vinegar, and sprinkle brown sugar over the top. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Remove the beef and onions from crock pot and pour cooking liquids into a saucepan. Bring to a boil and mix in the crush gingersnap cookies. Bring back to a boil until nicely thickened. Serve chunks of the roast over cooked egg noodles and poor gravy over the top, or serve on the side.

This is a very sweet roast. Much different than your typical pot roast. Another Volga German classic.

Tracey loved her Pink Panther. He is almost as big as she is. She carried him around everywhere...until one day he was no more. He became decapitated. Poor pink lived a long and loved life for a stuffed animal. She was very heart broken. To this day she still loves Pink Panther and has found a husband with a fondness to the Pink as well.
