1½ lb. ground meat
1 med chopped onion
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
1 can mushroom soup
½ can water
1 cup grated American cheese
shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix meat, onion, salt & pepper. Shape into balls. Add shortening in pan, just to cover bottom. Brown meat balls, drain off any oil. No oil in skillet now, place meatballs back in skillet.
Mix: mushroom soup, water and cheese. Pour over meatballs. Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour into serving dish, sprinkle with extra cheese on top of meatballs.
