1 cup butter, softened.
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup sour cream OR plain yogurt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
powdered sugar

Directions:

Cream butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla, beating well. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; add to creamed mixture gradually, alternating with sour cream or yogurt. Grease and flour a tube pan or Bundt pan well. Combine nuts, 2 Tbsp sugar, and cinnamon. pour half the batter in the pan, sprinkle with some of the nut mixture. Add remaining batter; top with remaining nuts. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cool on a rack for 10 minutes and invert onto a plate. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar while still warm.
