1 stick butter
1 stick margerine (I use only butter)
4T powdered sugar
1t vanilla
2C flour, sifted
1C chopped walnuts
powdwered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar & vanilla in mixer. Add flour & mix well. Add nuts. Shape into approximately 1 inch sized balls. Bake at 350º for about 15 mins, cool slightly (10 minutes). Roll in powdered sugar.
Store in a covered canister.

I can't remember ever having Christmas without these morsels. Our mother would decorate metal coffee cans and fill them with nut rounds, spritz cookies, and brownies for gifts for our teachers.
