3/4 cup very Hot water
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 pkg yeast (rapid rise)
1 tbsp melted shortening
2 cups flour
melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except yeast and flour. Mix well. Add 1 cup of flour and yeast. Mix well. Add remaining cup of flour and knead until elastic smooth dough. Butter cookie sheet. Place dough on cookie sheet and roll out even to edges. Cut
with sharp knife into squares, 4x6 or 4x5 according to wanted size. Brush biscuits with melted butter and let rise at least 1/2 to 3/4 hour. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes until light golden brown and no longer doughy in middle. Serve warm.
