Nana's Famous Jello Salad Recipe

1 pkg each orange and lemon jello, small size
1 can crushed pineapple
3 bananas
mini marshmellos
1 Egg
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tbsp Flour
Pinch of Salt
2 tbsp Butter
1 cup Whip Cream or 1/2 tub Cool Whip
Grated Cheddar Cheese

1. Dissolve jello into 2 cups boiling water
2. Add 1 1/2 cup chilled water
3. Drain 1 can #2 crushed pineapple. Save juice
4. In 9x13 pan, cut 3-4 bananas finely
5. Top with mini marshmellows to cover top. Chill.

1. Warm large egg to room temperature
2. Mix sugar, flour and salt
3. Beat egg
4. Add to sugar mix, with reserved pineapple juice
5. Cook, stir til think and flour is cooked. Chill
6. Use a double boiler or stir over medium heat, stiring constantly.
7. Add butter while still hot
8. Fold in whip cream
9. Spread on top of marshmellows
10. Top with cheese
