2 c flour
1 stick butter
2 c sugar
1 c cold water
4 Tbsp cocoa
c salad oil
c buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla


Sheet Cake Frosting:
1 stick oleo
6 Tbsp milk
4 Tbsp cocoa
1 box powdered sugar ( bag)
1 tsp vanilla
1 c nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine flour, sugar. In saucepan, combine butter, water, cocoa, and salad oil. Bring to boil, remove from heat and pour immediately the flour and sugar. Mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into well greased pan. Cook at 400 for 20 minutes. 5 minutes before cake is done start preparing icing.

Icing:
Combine butter, sugar, and cocoa; bring to a boil. Then add powdered sugar and vanilla. Add nuts, if desired. Pour over hot cake.
