Oven 350℉
Place 2 cups sugar, 2 eggs, 1 stick margarine, 1 t. Vanilla and a pinch of salt in mixing bowl and beat thoroughly. Dissolve 2 t. Baking soda in ½ c of buttermilk. Add the buttermilk mixture, 2 c flour and ½ c of cocoa in the first mixture and mix well. Finally add 1 c boiling water to the batter and beat well.
