2/3 c corn meal
1 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 T sugar
fat
1 egg, slightly beaten
c milk
1 lb wieners

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Cut in 2 T fat to resemble fine crumbs. Combine egg and milk; add to first mixture. Stir until well mixed. Insert wooden skewers into wieners; dip into cornmeal mixture. Fry in deep fat heated to 325 degrees.
