8 slices bacon
3 tsp. cornstarch
1 to 1¼ c. sugar
½ tsp. salt (optional)
¼ c. warm water
½ c. white vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon over medium heat until crisp. Drain. After bacon has cooked, crumble and set aside. In a small bowl, stir together cornstarch, sugar and salt, then slowly pour in water and vinegar, stirring constantly. Return crumbled bacon to skillet and pour in vinegar mixture. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens. Serve over your choice of fresh greens.
