3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
3-6 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
add:
2 tablespoon vinegar filling the rest of 1 cup with oil.
2 cup nuts
2 cup water
2 teaspoon vanilla

This can be mixed right in a 9x13 pan.

Mix all the dry ingredients together and then add the wet.

350 for 20 minutes or 35 minutes a in loaf pan.

In the 70's, this is the first recipe my neighbor, Sue learned to make. She would use vanilla icing and tint it "hot pink".
