½ bell pepper, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp garlic salt
¾ c ketchup
1 small package of Ritz crackers
1 egg
1 lb hamburger

Bake at 350º for 40 minutes then coat with additional ketchup and cook for an additional 40 minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and then serve.

This is a favorite in our house and everyone seems to always fight over who gets the end piece. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

When going through Grandma's recipe's I found one similar Great Aunt Lois used:
2 lb hamburger, 3 eggs (beaten), 1 c ketchup, 3/4 c bread crumbs, 3/4 c minced green onions, 3/4 c minced white onion, 1/2 c green pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1 Tbsp pepper. Bake in 350 degree oven.
