1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped prunes
1 cup chopped nuts

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 square butter
1 tsp karo syrop
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all cake ingredient in usual way. Pour into a well greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees until done. Pour Buttermilk sauce over warm cake

Bring all except vanilla to a boil in a saucepan. Cool slightly and pour over warm prune cake,
