2 Tbsp. oil
4 c. diced ham
2 c. yellow onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
3 qt. chicken broth
32 oz frozen turnip greens, thawed (Can use fresh)
2- 15.5 oz cans black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. hot sauce
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. sugar
Hot cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
In large Dutch oven, heat oil. Add ham, onion, and garlic, cooking for 8 to 10 minutes; stirring until vegetables are tender. Add all other ingredients, except rice. Stir to combine well and simmer over medium high heat. Cover and lower heat, continuing to cook for 1 hour. Serve over hot cooked rice, if desired.
