1.5 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion, minced
2 tsp salad or olive oil
3 cans (6oz, each) tomato paste
3 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
8 oz lasagna
2 eggs
3/4lb ricotta or cottage cheese
3/4lb mozzarelle cheese, sliced Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 tsp garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a large heavy pan, brown ground beef in oil with onion. Add tomato paste, 3 cups water, salt, pepper, and simmer for an hour. Meanwhile, cook lasagna as directed on package. Mix together eggs and ricotta or cottage cheese. In 13x9x2 baking pan spread about 1/2 cup sauce, then alternate layers of lasagna, sauce, ricotta and egg mixture and mozzarella until baking pan is filled. Top with sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375* for about 30 minutes or until heated through.
Makes 8 servings.
