1/4 cup olive oil
3 Tbsp minced garlic, 8-9 cloves
1/3 cup white wine
1 tables lemon zest- about 2 lemons
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves

4 boneless skin-on chicken thighs or breasts
slices lemon

oven to 400
small saucepan, warm the oil over low heat. Add the garlic and stir- do not let garlic burn.
Small bowl, stir the wine, lemon zest, lemon juice , oregano and thyme.
Whisk the wine mixture into the warm oil. Season with salt and pepper.
In oven dish, pour in about half of the wine and oil mixture. place the chicken over the sauce, skin side up. Tuck the lemon slices under the chicken. Season with S & P. Pour the remaining wine and oil over the chicken.

for thighs- cook 40-50 minutes
for skinned breast- 30-40 minutes
for skinless breasts - 25-35 minutes
