Ingredients:
Full Recipe: (makes A LOT)

1 1/3 c. Hershey cocoa (trust me it's the best)
6 c. sugar
3 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

1/2 Recipe:

2/3 c. Hershey cocoa
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together cocoa, sugar, and milk. Cook to a soft ball using a candy thermometer to 110. You have to keep stirring the entire time this is heating to temperature. When it gets to temperature, keep stirring and have someone add the butter and vanilla. Keep stirring until it starts to cool and gets slightly thickened. Pour before it gets too hard into a shallow dish and let it completely cool. Cut and serve.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is my Dad's favorite! The weather has to be just right to make it. It can't be raining and it can't be too humid. We have had some fudge fails When it makes though, it is what fudge is supposed to be, and it is delicious. No fake fudge with gooey marshmallow cream in this recipe! This is the real deal! Good luck!
