5 quart popped corn
2 c. sugar
1 ½ c. water
½ tsp.salt
½ c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
Keep popcorn hot and crisp in slow oven (300 to 325 degrees). Butter sides of saucepan. In saucepan combine remaining ingredients except vanilla. Cook to hard ball stage (250 degrees). Add vanilla. Pour slowly over hot popped corn, stirring just to mix thoroughly. Butter hands and shape into balls.
