1 ½ c. brown sugar
1 ½ c. granulated sugar
3 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
1 C. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ½ c. pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Butter sides of heavy 3 quart saucepan. In it, combine sugars, corn syrup, and milk. Heat and stir over medium heat til sugars dissolve and mixture comes to boiling. Then cook to soft ball stage (234 degrees) stirring occasionally. Cool 10 minutes. Add vanilla and beat by hand about 2 minutes. Add pecans and beat til mixture loses its gloss. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls on buttered foil or on waxed paper lined cookie sheet.
