Batter:
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. self rising flour
3/4 c. milk
1 stick butter
2 cans peach or desired fruit (drained)

Topping:
1/4-1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Melt 1 stick of butter in pyrex pan. In separate bowl mix all remaining ingredients. Pour batter into butter pyrex pan. Add on top of batter 2 cans of peaches or desired fruit. Top with 1/4-1/2 c. of sugar. Bake 350º until brown and crusty.

I always loved Baw's peach cobblers. She always served hot with ice cream. "Baw" is my Dads (Fred Moore Jr.s) mother.
