1 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
½ c chopped pecans
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 ½ c. cooking oil
3 c grated carrots

Icing:
5 oz. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
½ c. margarine
2 tsp vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
Cake: Sift together the flour, sugar, soda, cinnamon, and salt; then add oil, eggs, grated carrots, and nuts. Stir till just mixed then put in a greased and floured 9 x 13 baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees about 45 minutes.

Frosting: Melt margarine; add vanilla, blend in cream cheese and powdered sugar till smooth. Spread over cooled cake.
