1 c sugar
1 c butter, softened
1 egg
3 Tbsp. molasses
3 c flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix sugar, butter, molasses and egg with electric mixer until creamy. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamy mixture. Press into a 15x10 jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with decorative sugar Bake 16-20 minutes. Cool and cut in bars.
