1 qt. sweet milk
1 c. shortening
Flour
2 heaping tsp baking powder
1 c. sugar
3 pkg. yeast (3 Tbsp)
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Warm milk to lukewarm. Add sugar, shortening, yeast, and enough flour to make the dough the consistency of cake batter. Let rise in a warm place covered for 2 hours. Work down and let rise one more time. Add salt, baking powder, and more flour until consistency of biscuit dough. Do not make too stiff. Roll out, cut, and put on lightly floured cookie sheet or whatever and freeze. Store in plastic bag after frozen. Bake frozen biscuits at 400 for 20 minutes.
