1 Onion, sliced into rings
Carrots, sliced
Turnip, cut into cubes
Rice
Salt
Pepper
Potatoes, cut into thin slices
1 can Green peas
1 lb Ground beef
1 can Tomato soup

Directions:
Directions:
Fry the onion in ½ tbsp. butter and add to a roaster.
Add carrot layer.
Add turnip layer.
Add a layer of rice, salt and pepper, to preference.
Add potatoes in a layer.
Add layer of green peas.
Add Ground Beef layer.
Add 1 can tomato soup, mixed with ½ can of water, and pour over the top.

Bake for 1 ½ hours at 350ºF, or until vegetables are soft.

Can substitute ground beef for ground turkey or pork, to preference.
Juices from peas can be included to make less dry.
If preferred, 2 cans of tomato soup and 1 can of water can be used.
