2 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Salt
¼ c. Shortening
¾ c. Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450º
In a bowl combine the Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda and Salt. Cut in the Shortening until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Stir in Buttermilk and knead the dough gently. Roll out to about ½ in. think and cut with a 2½ in. biscuit cutter. Place onto a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
