Italian Meatballs with Sauce Recipe

2 lb ground beef
2 eggs
bread crumbs chopped onion
2 tsp oil
salt & pepper to taste

1/2 cup onion, minced
2 clove garlic
1 Tbsp olive oil
3 cans tomato puree
2 cans tomato paste
1 Tbsp basil
1 Tbsp oregano
2 Tbsp brown sugar

Meatballs: Mix ingredients and form into balls. Set aside

Saute onion and garlic in olive oil in large saucepan.
Add tomato puree, tomato paste, water and spices. Bring to boil then lower to simmer. Add meatballs. Cook 6 to 8 hours adding water when needed.

Serve on spaghetti noodles with mozzarella cheese.
