Ingredients:
2 Cans Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 Large Graham Cracker Crust

1 Small container Cool Whip

1 Small Pkg Chopped Pecans

1 Pkg Mini Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Peel paper from the cans of sweetened condensed milk. Place cans on their sides in a tall, stock pot and cover completely in cold water. Slowly bring the pot to a rolling boil and boil for three hours, making sure to turn the cans every 30 minutes or so and make sure the cans stay covered in water.

At the end of 3 hours, allow the cans to cool for 1 whole hour, this is VERY important.

Carefully open the cans and spread into the pie crust. Cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle pecans and mini chocolate chips all over the top. Refrigerate for 8 hours before serving.

***Never leave the boiling cans on the stove without checking them consistently. They will explode if the water boils out. Turning the cans regularly ensures that the milk caramelizes evenly and you end up with smooth, creamy caramel.
