1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup cocoa
2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup milk

3 cups oatmeal
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
In large saucepan, combine butter, cocoa, sugar and milk. Heat to boiling - boil for 3-5 minutes (one full minute roiling boil).

Remove from heat, add oatmeal, vanilla, peanut butter and stir quickly to blend.

Use spoon or scoop of your preferred size to drop mix on cookie sheet. Let firm. If you're in a hurry, refrigerate to speed it up. Just sayin'.

After a few batches, you'll get a sense of what viscosity the fudge mix should be before you pull it off the heat. Fail a few times.

If you boil too long, you get a dry, crumbly mix - great on ice cream
If you don't boil long enough, you'll get a soupy mix which, while still delicious, is a little difficult to contain on a cookie sheet.
