2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
4 tablespoons cocoa
cup buttermilk
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F and grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. Mix 2 cups sugar with 2 cups flour. Melt and bring to boil the butter, water, and cocoa. Mix dry ingredients with the warm liquid. Add soda to buttermilk. Mix buttermilk, eggs and vanilla to the mix. Bake 20-25 minutes until the center springs back. Let cool for 20-30 minutes.

4 tablespoons cocoa
1 stick butter
6 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 16-ounce box powdered sugar
cup nuts (optional)

While cake is baking, blend all ingredients for icing. Ice while the cake is warm.
