1 stick butter
1 cups light brown sugar
cup heavy cream
cup cocoa powder
cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup dry roasted peanuts (optional)

Directions:

Melt butter and stir in sugar, cream, and cocoa. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Stir in oats. Drop by heaping teaspoons on wax paper and let cool for 20 minutes.
