3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup shortening
1 cup chunk style peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 - 6 oz pkg chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, soda & salt. Sit aside.

Mix shortening & peanut butter. Add sugars, vanilla & eggs. Mix in flour, then add chocolate chips.

Roll into balls the size of walnuts and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a sugared fork. Bake at 375º about 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire racks.
