½ cup water
1 cup light corn syrup
2 cups sugar
1 ½ cups uncooked peanuts
2 Tbsp butter
2 tsp baking soda
splash of vanilla
pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Use butter to thoroughly grease 2 large cookie sheets. Prepare all ingredients. Bring water to a boil, add syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil and cook to thread state (around 5 minutes). Add peanuts, cooking until tan and smell cooked (maybe 20 minutes). Remove from heat. Add butter, soda, vanilla, and salt. Stir well and pour immediately onto cookie sheets, spreading as much as possible. Place in freezer until hard. Break into pieces and serve.
