1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
3 cups quick oatmeal
1 ½ cups coconut
½ cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars, then add eggs. Combine flour, soda and salt; add to butter mixture. When blended add oatmeal, coconut and pecans. Shape into 3 rolls or logs 2 inches in diameter, and wrap in wax paper. (I form the logs on the waxed paper using a little flour to make it easier to work with.) Refrigerate for 24 hours. Slice 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10 min at 350°.
