1/3 c soft butter
1/2 c brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp. orange juice
grated rind of 1 orange
6 oz chocolate chips
1 1/4 c cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 egg whites
3/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325ºF. Grease 9" square pan. Beat butter, 1/2 c brown sugar and egg yolks until fluffy. Stir in orange juice and rind. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into butter mixture. Blend well then spread in prepared pan. Sprinkle evenly with chocolate chips. Beat egg white until fluffy. Add brown sugar gradually and beat until firm peaks form. Fold in walnuts. Spread over chocolate chips. Bake 40 min until the meringue is lightly browned. Cool before cutting.
