Ingredients:
1 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. milk
1 egg
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix. The batter should be smooth and about the consistency of thick cream. Heat rosette iron by holding the design part in hot oil for 10 seconds. Remove from the oil and dip into the batter (batter should reach top of the design but not go over the top). Dip iron into hot oil to cover the top of the iron. As soon as the batter starts to expand from the iron gently shake and lift the iron until the cookie drops off. If the batter sticks to the iron the oil is to hot. Remove rosette when nicely browned and drain on a paper towel. Dust with powdered sugar.
