Ingredients:  
1 cup Crisco
1 cup Fleischman margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 cups flour
1⅛ tsp. baking soda
1⅛ tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together Crisco, margarine, sugar and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Cream again. Add remaining ingredients. Drop dough by tablespoonful on cookie sheet and press down with a glass dipped in sugar.

Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes.
