2 cups milk
½ cup sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1 tsp salt
Scald and cool to luke warm

1 cup warm water, 1 pkg yeast and 2 tsp sugar dissolved in water let sit until yeast activates

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl combine lukewarm liquid mixture with yeast mixture and add flour until you have a soft dough then knead dough with more flour for 3 to 4 min. Put in in greased bowl cover. Let rise until double about 1½hours
Then form into loaves and let rise again about 1 hour. Bake at 350º until golden brown and sound hollow.
