2 lb ham
2 can asparagus tips
or fresh asparagus
½ cup butter
½ cup flour
1 cup sour cream
1 ½ cup milk
1 cup grated cheddar

Directions:
Directions:
Thinly slice ham. Drain asparagus tips, or boil fresh asparagus until tender. Layer in a greased 9x13 pan.

In a small saucepan, melt butter and gradually stir in flour until smooth. Slowly add milk and sour cream, stirring until sauce thickens. Stir in cheddar until smooth and add salt and pepper. Pour over ham and asparagus. Bake in a 400° oven for 20-25 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and top is slightly browned.
