Indian Fry Bread:
2 cups flour
¼ cup sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup water
Oil for frying

Toppings:
chopped tomatoe
chopped onion
grated cheddar cheese
black olives, jalepenos
guacamole, sour cream, salsa

Taco Meat:
1 can refried beans
1 lb buffalo meat
1 pkg taco seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Mix fry bread ingredients together, using enough of the water to make a soft dough. Pat out fry bread dough in flour to form patties. Fry patties in 1-2 inches of oil at 350° until browned.

Meanwhile, brown ground meat, stirring in beans and taco TSpread mixture onto fry bread patty. Top with desired toppings.

Extra fry bread may be rolled in sugar & cinnamon and served with honey!

One of our family's favorite trips to take is visiting the Badlands National Park. No trip here is complete without a stop at the Cedar Pass Lodge Restaurant, where we always have to order their Indian Tacos. We raved about them so much that they gave us their recipe! Now we're able to make these favorites at home, although every time we have them I miss seeing the badlands out the window! - Erin
