2 cups frozen corn, thawed
2 Tbsp shortening
1 ½ Tbsp flour
1 cup milk
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
⅛ tsp pepper
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup cracker crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan melt shortening and add flour. Add milk gradually and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add corn, sugar, salt and pepper and heat thoroughly. Remove from heat and add beaten eggs. Pour into greased baking dish and sprinkle with crumbs. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until firm.
