1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk (save white) and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Arrange pecan halves in groups of five on a greased cookie sheet. Roll dough into balls, and dip in egg white and press into nuts. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. Cool and frost with chocolate frosting.
