4 strips of bacon
3 medium potatoes, peeled and
cubed
2 medium carrots, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 tsp salt
⅛ tsp pepper
2 Tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1 can minced clams

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, fry bacon until crisp. Remove and crumble, setting aside.

To drippings add vegetables, salt and pepper. Add enough water to just cover vegetables. Cover and cook for 20-30 minutes or until tender.

Combine flour with a small amount of milk until smooth. Add to potato mixture along with remaining milk, bacon, and clams. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens.
