1 large onion, thinly sliced
2½-3 lbs. chicken, cut into pieces or 4-6 chicken breasts, cut up
2 6-oz. cans tomato paste
1 4-oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1-2 tsp. oregano leaves
½ tsp. basil
½ tsp. celery seed
1 bay leaf
¼ cup dry white wine

Directions:
Directions:
Placed sliced onion in bottom of crock pot. Add chicken pieces. Stir together tomato paste, mushrooms, salt, pepper, garlic, herbs and white wine. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on Low 7-9 hours (High 3-4 hours). Serve over over hot spaghettie or vermicelli.
