1 envelope dry yeast
1/4 cup lukewarm water
1-1/4 cups milk, scalded
1-3/4 tsp. salt
5 T sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
2 eggs, beaten
4-1/2 cups flour
5 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Combine hot milk, salt and sugar in a bowl; mix well. Stir in butter and eggs. to lukewarm. Stir in yeast mixture. Beat in flour until smooth. Let rise, covered, in warm place until doubled in bulk. Stir batter down. Add cheese; mix well.Spoon into 2 greased loaf pans. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.Remove to wire rack to cool.
