6 cups cubed red potatoes
2 cups water
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup thinly sliced carrots
1/2 finely chopped onion
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup flour
3 cups milk
12 oz. cubed American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Combine potatoes, water, celery, carrots, onion, bouillon, parsley, salt and pepper in 4 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Simmer, covered, 8-10 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Blend flour into 1/4 cup milk to form a smooth paste. Stir into soup. Add remaining milk and cheese. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring frequently.
