2 lbs. hamburger
1 qt. tomato juice
1 (29 oz.) can tomato puree
1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans,
1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans,
1 small onion diced
1 small green pepper diced
cup celery diced, optional
tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. cumin
2 tsp. salt
tsp. black pepper
tsp. oregano
tsp. sugar
cup chili powder
1 tsp. garlic powder

Brown hamburger; drain off fat. Put hamburger and remaining ingredients in a 6 qt. pot. Cover and let simmer at least 1 hour, stirring often.
