1 pkg of mincemeat (1/4 #)
2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup of soften butter
2 eggs - well beaten
1 teaspoon of cream of tartar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of soda
1 cup of nuts
1/2 cup of candied cherries
3 cups of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda, an salt together in a bowl.
Add nuts (finely chopped) & cherries.
In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mincemeat chopped fine.
Add to flour mixture bowl
The dough will be very stiff.
Pour into xxxxx & roll in a loaf and wrap in wax paper. Place in ice box or cold place overnight.
Slice and bake 8 minutes at 400 degrees
